Buffalo Wild Wings of Statesboro to donate 10 percent of total sales to The Boys & Girls Club of Bulloch County on April 19
Statesboro, GA, April 11, 2017— You can help raise funds to create better futures for our youth by dining at the Buffalo Wild Wings of Statesboro, 442 Northside Drive East on Wednesday, April 19.
As a part of the Team Up for Kids® mission, Buffalo Wild Wings will donate 10 percent of total sales that day along with 100 percent of all restaurant guest donations. Bring your family for dinner. Plan lunch with your coworkers. Stop by for a snack. Please join The Boys & Club of Bulloch (BGC) County at Buffalo Wild Wings® for the Community Day celebrations and help raise funds.
Since its inception in August of 2001, the BGC has been in the forefront of youth development, serving as the only organization in the county extended to youth-at-risk that provides a positive setting for participants to grow academically as well as socially. Each day, nearly 400 youth attend the BGC and actively participate in a variety of academic, art, health and recreational activities. The BGC recognizes and emphasizes academic enrichment, leadership development and civic engagement as the tools desperately needed for our underserved children to complete post-secondary education, obtain gainful employment and become productive members of our community.
Buffalo Wild Wings’ Team Up for Kids mission and partnership with Boys & Girls Club of America (BGCA) supports youth sports through ALL STARS grants for flag or tackle football, basketball, cheer, dance, step, and soccer teams at Boys & Girls Clubs across the country. In additional to the more than $730,000 raised on Community Day 2016, Buffalo Wild Wings’ partnership enabled over 88,000 youth to participate on teams.
Thanks to funds raised through Buffalo Wild Wings’ Community Day, the Boys & Girls Club of Bulloch County provides enhanced programming in Sports, Fitness and Recreation to hundreds of our youth by promoting a healthy lifestyle through teaching teamwork and good sportsmanship, building self-esteem for Club kids.
