Character & Leadership Development

 These programs help youth become responsible, caring citizens and acquire skills to participate the democratic process. Program participants also develop leadership skills and gain opportunities for planning, decision-making, contributing to Club and community and celebrating our national heritage. 

  •  Our SMART GIRLS program focuses on building self esteem, individuality, and confidence in our girls aged 8-12. Leaders provide extra activities every week that help our girls develop positive relationships with their peers and adults. 
  •  Passport to Manhood provides a targeted effort that engages young boys in discussions and activities that reinforce character, leadership and positive behavior. Each participant receives a “passport” to underscore the notion that he is on a personal journey of growth.

 Our staff provides students with strategies & resources that encourages academic success. Over 90% of our members received all As or Bs on their report cards. 

 These programs are designed to ensure that all Club members graduate from high school on time, ready for a post-secondary education and a 21st-century career. Programs Include: 

  • Power Hour
  • Money Matters
  • Project Learn 
  • Summer Brain Game

 These programs are designed to foster creativity in young people, and give them outlets for self-expression. Our arts programs have something that will inspire everyone. Our STEM is a hands-on, activity-based STEM curriculum which connects youth to science themes they encounter regularly.

Health & Life Skills

 These programs develop young people’s capacity to engage in positive behaviors to nurture their well-being, set personal goals and grow into self-sufficient adults.  

  • Social–emotional learning (SEL) is an educational method that aims to foster social and emotional skillsSEL emphasizes social and emotional skills to the same degree as other subjects, such as math, science, and reading. The Camilla Foundation and the 21st Century Community Learning Center are partnering together using the positive-action curriculum to further the development and understanding the emotions of our youth. 
  •  Healthy Habits emphasizes good nutrition, regular physical activity and improved overall well-being.

Health & Life Skills

 These Club programs help develop physical fitness, reduce stress and promote a positive use of leisure time, appreciation for the environment and interpersonal skills. 

  • Triple Play:  Triple Play is a comprehensive health and wellness program. It strives to improve the overall health of Club members ages 6-18 by increasing daily physical activity, teaching them about good nutrition and helping them develop healthy relationships.
